A recent survey by King's College London has revealed Britons' attitudes towards conspiracy theories, including around a third of the public saying various conspiracies are probably or definitely true. As the spread of fake news online is more prevalent than ever, I was tasked with writing an item with the BBC's Disinformation and Social Media Correspondent, Marianna Spring to talk about her new podcast, which shines a light on some of the most extreme cases of online hate, plus her top tips for staying in touch with reality when we're confronted with harmful content.
